out of nowhere, metamorphosis and breaks/kintsugi are three related projects that explore our changing relationship with the

natural environment, focusing on the trees, grasses and rocks of our Alpine mountains, all familiar to us, but presented here to

invite the viewer to wonder about what we can imagine in them and through them when they are taken out of, or beyond their

context. In April 2024, the Franco Angeli Academy in Milan exhibited a number of images from this series. Breaks/Kintsugi

was shown in May at Lucida, the 2025 edition Paratissima in Turin. and there is now an exhibit of Out of Nowhere and

Metamorphosis at Apriti Cielo! Via Sant’Uguzzone 26, Milano.
